Duprey Hospitality is proud to announce the upcoming opening of a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel at the site of the former Holiday Inn on North Main Street. The Holiday Inn will officially close its doors for renovations on December 15, and when it reopens summer of 2025, guests will be welcomed into a fully reimagined space that blends modern comfort with the trusted hospitality of the Hilton brand.
Developer Steve Duprey, who purchased the property in August for $16.8 million, shared his vision for the transformation: "It’s a big upgrade,” he said. “But we think it’ll be a renovation that’ll be good for downtown.”
The renovation is already underway in select rooms, and will soon expand to include extensive updates to both the interior and exterior of the building. The project aims to elevate the guest experience while enhancing the hotel’s presence in the heart of Concord’s bustling downtown district.
Once complete, the new DoubleTree will offer updated amenities, stylish modern design, and the same commitment to hospitality that guests have come to expect from Hilton. Whether you're visiting for business, attending a local event, or just exploring the charm of the Capital City, the DoubleTree by Hilton will be a welcoming, full-service destination.
As Concord continues to grow and attract more visitors, this project marks an exciting step forward for the city—and for the local economy. Duprey Hospitality is thrilled to play a role in Concord’s future and to bring a trusted global brand to our downtown landscape.
Stay tuned for more updates as we count down to a grand opening this summer. And yes—those famous DoubleTree cookies will be waiting.
